  • Why should I become a member of PTO?  To be involved in your child's school, to stay informed about the events and activities at SCE, to help plan events for SCE, to have a voice through your vote, to learn about volunteer opportunities, to make new friends, to become acquainted with other parents, to receive a directory.
  • How much is a membership and how do I join?  Membership is $5 per family.  Membership forms will be sent home in your child's Tuesday folder the second week of school.  Return the form and your $5 to your child's teacher.
  • When are the PTO meetings?   Our meetings are held on a Thursday or Friday of each month at 9:30 a.m.  Please refer to the Calendar on our website.  Please meet in the PTO room in the kindergarten hallway. 
  • How do keep informed on PTO updates?  Join PTO for "broadcast emails", come to our monthly meetings, read the meeting minutes on our website, and subscribe to our online mailing list.
  • Tell me about the student directory?  Student directories are published in the fall and are complimentary to all paying PTO members. 
  • If I need a question answered and I can't find it on the PTO website, what should I do?  Click the "Contact Us" page on our website and we'll get back with you as quickly as possible.
  • How can I pay my child's lunch account?  You can pay in the cafeteria or visit the link on our "MISD Links" page on our website.
